I know. I went on TWD forum and browsed around and anyone who when hinted that they are disappointed in this season got flammed lol. I guess its all about the comics, and from the look of it, not much is gonna change anytime soon :( kinda makes me wanna write my own version of the story and direct my own show. Too bad I know nothing about film

This "finale" sucked so bad it almost made me wish they were still on the farm. I can't believe they killed Andrea since she's still alive in the books, but they wrote her character so crappy this season that I guess they didn't have a choice. She went out completely useless, much like Dale.
The Wooodbury and the Governor storyline needed to end last night, and instead they extended way too long (like the Farm) and now what the hell are they going to do with the extra bunch of women and old people they took in?
I actually think the only redeming part of the episode was Carl showing his true psychopath colors like in the comics. Now they need to get out of the damn prison!

I'll agree the finale "could" have been better. That said..we all know the Gov is nuts but who really saw him firing upon his own people coming?

As the page 1 repost hints, you can't have blood and gore all the time otherwise you'd kill off the group in no time.

IMO I'll imagine they aren't long for the prison. They have a larger group now, plus the exterior has taken a real beating especially the fences.

I enjoyed the differences between the show and the comics, it allowed the readers of the books to still be surprised by events in the show.

With that I'm getting more and more annoyed with the path the show is taking the charectors. I agree the Gov events should have followed the books a little more, it would have made for better tv.

Gov was much more crazy in the books, his blood lust was worse (when outside the walls of Woodbury) and the attack on the Prison was more exciting, in the books both groups were well prepared and it was an actual show down instead of a few bullet exchanges and some soiled undies.

Good point - the show shouldn't follow the comics all that closely, if it did then where would the surprises/"oh shit, I didn't see that coming" be?

What I do find annoying and funny at the same time is how people are bitching about the gov's people running when the bullets started flying...Not sure how many of the token "characters" were supposed to have been ex-military (few, I would bet) and were supposed to have been in an actual firefight (even fewer, I would bet). So, with that said, it is highly likely that the people were just average joe's with no military/combat training whatsoever, which begs to ask the question of how the average person would react in a firefight, much less one that started the way it did in the prison. That group was nothing more than a group of riled up wannabe's who, when the shit hit the fan, did what most people would do...

I didn't mind the ending though. While I could get along with the show being exactly the same as the books, I didn't mind how this season ended and how it looks like it may go. Rick is showing Carl that you need to be soft, there is no need to house the left overs from a nursing home in the Prison with them, but it also doesn't hurt them if you think about how many Woodbury folks they recruited and opened eyes to what the Gov is really like.

what more main charecters went to the prison? Woodbury's token black guy went, did Martinez?

martinez and the other guy rode off w/ the governor. i think the ones that went to the prison were tyrese and his, then the old/young that couldnt fight from woodbury.

Rick needs to really take Carl to the woodshed, to say the least. I am beginning to think that boy is too far gone to be soft.

It would be interesting to see how many of Woodbury's residents went to the prison - all, or did the ones more loyal to the gov stay behind? There has to be a reason the prison was picked. Logistically and all, the prison can't support that many. They would have to re-seal the fences, clear all the walkers, plant gardens, etc. Too many mouths for that place.

All of the gov's main people went into the prison and "tomb" including the token and Martinez. Which, of course, does not include Milton...

With all the left overs from a nursing home, wouldn't you be afraid of someone dying in their sleep and coming back as a zombie? Someone stated that last night on the talking dead show.

cleaning the yard and fixing the fences would be easy. better securing it from future attacks would be what be the harder part. sucks that their towers are hosed now.

    effing geriatrics!!!!
