Also, to me it looked like the hand print was low on the door, near the latch. Closer to a kids height than Carol's.

I'll agree. It just seems bland so far, like they're digging for content.

You probably are correct - although they do have some control in order to make noise and all. But what do I know, I'm not a zombie biologist...:D

This is moot since they get some water from the stream just outside that fence, but I would think that any water that is open (standing or not) to the elements is now contaminated with something. I would also think that living on an island would be short-lived. If the current was fast enough to drag bodies/walkers away then it could get to dangerous to cross regularly. If it was to slow then the bodies could pile up eventually creating a bridge of walkers. Plus the flooding on island in the middle of rivers is something to consider.

But yeah, I have always maintained that an island would be the best option for longterm survival in a Zombie apocalypse.

Of course the contaminated water must be boiled. As far as crossing, it wouldn't be so dangerous with a boat - may have to walk it upstream in order to get back, but think about how it was done when boats were only paddle/sail powered. Without making a lot of noise and drawing attention, then walkers shouldn't pile up on the opposite bank. But, that scenario won't ever play out on the show - although it would be interesting to see what happens. There may be some flooding, but also some islands are high enough that they will be dry...

So i've started getting the graphic novel from the local library and recently realized that there is "The Walking Dead Volume x" and "The walking dead book x. a continuing story of survival horror". Are they the same things with different packaging? Or are they different? ayone know?

whoa! just finished reading the last 6 pages of new posts. So, I believe one reason why they drive the soccer mom vehicles is because Hyuandai being a primary sponsor. Another reason maybe because of gas shortages. Zombies can continue living in water....as we saw at the governors secret room with all the heads in water and there were water collection barrels with rain spouts.
ps. I agree with everyone....they're going to have to move to another location and Marilyn Manson might HAVE been talented, but the drug use has killed anything left.

Totally forgot about the gov's collection! Good catch!
Manson and talent in the same word? Surely you jest...

VM, where are you stationed? Quantico? My wife is over at Parris.

I did like Manson's "lucid" moment where he recognized the zombie herd needed a shepard and that the Gov could be that Shepard. I can see him driving a Humvee with a PA system playing music luring them toward the prison.

    Comic Spoilers:

In the books there was another encampment that the group eventually made it to, that is likely who we're hearing on the radio, the other encampment that they'll eventually flee the prison and encounter

He is super nice in person. We had him come to our local zombie crawl and 5k for a meet and greet, book signing, and pictures. He is also a motivational speaker for teens.

Our event staff got to have dinner with him the night before the event and BS with him. We couldnt have picked a better person to come

    Thanks :)

Not really, I was at the far end of the table for dinner. Im not a big fan of celebrities... The pic was good enough for me lol. But our group got a few "interviews" with him for local media.

We did mention that when he died we noticed that he didnt turn into a walker like everyone else does. He just smiled. haha so we may see a Tdog zombie at some point

Me either - the pic would be good enough also...

Was wondering whatever happened to the dead Tdog...as I recall, no bones or whatever were found.

I thought they showed a little of his remains when they found Carol's handkerchief or whatever.

I had always chocked people who didn't turn as 'eaten till nothing left' but it still doesn't make sense, a head with no skin should still reanimate really.
