Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

It almost looks like the zombies are becoming more aware of things than just brainless eating machines as if they are starting to think!

 

That certainly would bring a whole new level of danger to the arena. Has it shown where they are starting to "think," or is this something you would like to see? I haven't noticed that as of yet.

 

it might just be me, but a few times they will do a close up of a zombies eyes such as when Merle was a zombie he almost looked like he knew is brother. The zombies at the gate some look as if they are pushing to find weakness in the fence. It would be interesting to see zombies evolve.

 

The zombies are slow now too. In the very first episode they were quick to run after Rick in Atlanta

No , I watched it again in slo mo , his wounds are fresh , he opens and closes his eyes and he doesn't have the zombie contact lenses they always put on the close up zombies and there was definitely 3 dogs

I'll let it go till the next time I bring it up again , I wanna ask Chris Hardwick now

 

For pete's sake, someone PLEASE post a pic of that zombie being eaten by the dog - not the one dwalden posted, but one that actually shows its face...just for OZ...

Canadian version must have differed from what I saw, because you could clearly see the glazed over look and hear the moaning (or whatever you want to call it) sound that the walkers make. So whether the dogs killed the guy and continued eating after the turn or the dogs found the turned walker and decided to have a snack, i think its irrelevant because the dogs were munching on a walker when rick drove by.

All this talk about the dogs, wouldn't it be a good idea to have guard dogs for the group? Or would they be worried that the dogs barking would attract zombies?

Seems like they've thrown in hints of that possibility from time to time but then nothing else is mentioned. Like in the very first or second episode when the guy and his son had the wife/mom coming to the door peering in, like she knew it was her house. But that was a lot to build up the terror and heartbreak for the man, son and Rick knowing they were going to have to put her down eventually.

 

Yeah, they did. But I wonder if that is just some leftover memory for the newly dead? It certainly would make things interesting if the walkers could think.
