They probably filmed a shot of him laying on the ground dead after being shot and eaten by the zombies, but decided not to use it. I think it would have been cool to see a swarm of zombies eating him just so people can stop theorizing that he is still alive...

Looks like her to me and I thought so when they did the episode too, they made a point to show her in the middle of the screen walking towards the camera for a few seconds. I think the undershirt, jacket, pockets, hair, skin/face and everything. It looks like she's wearing two types of pants, jeans underneath in both and some sort of loose cut dress or something else over the top. The only difference is when she was human it was lighter color and looks darker like it got dirty now that she's a walker.

I'm actually looking forward to the second half of this season. I didn't like at all how they left the Woodbury/Governor story at the end of last season, and the prison started feeling like the farm. I liked how they brought back the Governor story sort of in line with the comics as well as them leaving the prison.

I wonder when/if Carol will come back into the picture and where they're going to take the story once they all find each other again. The zombie kills have been awesome this season in my opinion.

The more I reflect on this episode the more I realize how silly the "technical" advisor for this show must be.

Tanks cannot have a grenade roll down the barrel into the crew compartment and ignite the fuel tank under ANY circumstance I am aware of.

Not to mention all of the M16 stuff. (It wasn't an AR.. it was auto..)

bullets not going through zombies or file cabinets.. oh and a kid with a lever action pistol caliber rifle saying saying he thought he could make a shot with iron sights and kill the governor, meanwhile Daryl with a weapon that has a 400-600 yard max effective kill range and a top of the line EOtech holographic weapon sight saying, "Naw.. we might miss from this range" when they are like 50 yards away. lol

I don't think there is a tech advisor... While it is possible for a grenade to enter the crew compartment, the breech would have to be open. As far as igniting the fuel , the only way that would happen is if the had fuel canisters inside the crew compartment.
What caliber was carl's gun? It looked almost like a .30-.30... Doubtful the distance was more than 100 to 150 yards, so that is possible with a smaller caliber. Iron sights aren't hard to shoot at all...
Great post! Add to it the question as to where they got the batteries for those sights...

bolded part is easy to explain. there are a lot of military posts in georgia. hence getting a m16 wouldnt be that difficult since there really isnt an army/military anymore

Exactly. It couldn't have been too far, it's down a small hill and to the fence which they show routinely to be a short distance when people are arriving at the gate. Also Rick and the others were in that same position and clearly heard the governor yell that it was time to talk and told rick to come down. It couldn't have been far.

As for the lever action I guess it could be 30-30 or rifle caliber but frequently seen in .45LC. Who knows.. I still think Daryl had a much better chance of making the shot.. maybe he is only good with a crossbow.

As for the grenade and the barrel, my understanding is that the barrel could be destroyed or damaged if the grenade could produce sufficient pressure(Doubtful since the barrel is designed for extreme pressures and the end is still open which provides an easy outlet for the pressure. Beyond that, not only would the breech have to be open, and the tank not possess any sort of loading interlock that rounds have to be passed through.. right? Maybe we have a tank expert on here who can chime in.

I love how we suspend belief to think there are hoards of zombies roaming the earth, but can't believe that they got the wrong tank, or that a grenade could blow up said tank. Lol. TW Logic.

The whole definition of suspended disbelief is that they make a concerted effort to make everything reasonably believable or at least plausible. Even Star trek makes pseudo-technical explanations for things. The least they could have had Daryl say was "That's a Sherman tank.. (or whatever) If I can time it right, I can get a grenade down the barrel exactly when they go to reload and maybe take it out.." or something similar.

Or not.. I will still enjoy it. Looking here though it's important to note these discrepancies when people are trying to analyze scenes. There is still a fudge-factor to this show that needs to be recognized.

My thoughts, as well. Maybe we could get Adam and Jamie to do an episode...will a grenade down a cannon barrel disable it....can a lever action 30/30 kill at X number of yards....can a zombie provide protection from a M-16...Stay tuned on this episode of Mythbusters.
