Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

I realize the actress that plays Beth is older, but how old is her character?

 

I thought so too but I understand what the writers were trying to accomplish with the character building for Daryl & Beth.

I'm still trying to figure out what that last episode told me about Daryl and Beth that I didn't already know. Daryl was a badass redneck partyboy who had an abusive drunken father and he ran with his even badderass redneck brother who had total control of him. I already knew this because it was told when the Daryl stayed with Merle rather than return to the prison without him. Beth was the goody twoshoes daughter of a recovering alcoholic born again Christian who controlled her life with the bible. Anybody paying attention already knew this as well. The thing I saw was by burning down that place was the two of them burning away their past and moving on to be the people they are now post ZA. They didn't need to waste the whole hour for that small bit of enlightenment. I know this show can't be just about zombies and killing. I get that. It has to be more about the people. Am I the only one who is disappointed that they basically pissed away a whole episode instead of giving just five minutes to show the results of Rick's walker booby trap. I wanted to see that walker take out at least one of those guys and the walker being killed and the surviving members of that group's reaction to what Rick had done. Is that too much to ask?

 

That's a cool timeline, but it's incomplete, the new webisodes with the lady in the hospital aren't included in there, from what I saw anyway.

• Hannah and her daughter Jamie and son Billy sit on the sofa and look at their dead goldfish in the fish bowl. They have a fish funeral around the toilet bowl. They go for a drive in their SUV. (Web1)

The game looks terrible and I wasn't impressed with the Demo on 360, the webisodes were ok, but I like the idea of them all being connected and the timeline working out together.

 

Point taken due to many incidents in the south's past history, but I've been to southern California many times so I can tell you racial prejudice transends all geographic boundaries.

 

The way this season is going, they will get around to showing that next fall after the "midseason" break.

 

I wouldn't be overly suprised if the rest of this season deals with the seperate groups and character development and we see Terminus in the season finale the same way we glimpsed the prison
