Yes, as is often the case, the Oz, the great and mighty is correct...or at least Wikipedia is correct. Greg Nicotero, one of the directors, said this, "Imagine what the city would look like after having been abandoned for a year and a half versus the six weeks we established in the very first episode." So the year and a half is pretty close to the 500 days established in the Wiki timeline.

I'd say because that would give away the next episode, where Noah escaped the hospital. If it showed Daryl and Noah walking out of the bushes, then we would clearly know the following episode that Noah escapes.

So i would agree with what many have said, Daryl is going back to get Rick and the gang, to fuck up the hospital people. Perhaps that's also why they were showing Carl telling the pastor to pick out a gun. Maybe he will, and we will see him do some shooting in the next episode..

 

Moral question:

Another group of survivors has a good string hold. Yes, they have two of your people, but does than mean you have to go full governor on them? Shouldn't you approach from a safe distance and ask for your people back and see if everyone can walk away alive from this?

The short term goal is to stay alive and keep your people alive. Isn't the long term goal of rebuilding a world something to be kept in mind? As far as Rick and crew know Eugene still holds a chance of repairing the world.

Or have they just seen to many assholes to let anyone live?

 

I think by the time Daryl and Noah make it back to Rick et al, Daryl will be well informed of the hospital crew's semi-evil ways. Once that is relayed to Daryl's crew, I'm pretty sure negotiations won't be an option.

 

Beth might make an effort to save the Dr.

 

She was about to kill the Doc when they rolled Carol in. I don't think she would save him.

I think she change her mind when Carol rolled in. She's going to need the Doc alive if she wants Carol to survive.

 

With the intel from Noah and based on their experience with Woodbury and Terminus, there is no point in negotiating anything. Besides, these people are only "saving" others so that they can have slave labor so it's in their advantage to just let Beth and Carol go if they don't want to get sieged.

 

How good of a group are the hospital people if they kill off the strong ones, the ones that risk figuring out or knowing how they operate and try to fight there way out or something. The ones that they can't force to do what they're doing to people like Beth and Noah.

 

Does rape fall under "protect" or "serve" at the hospital?

 

This, just like the Gov, good intentions ruined by insane thinking.

 

Not to mention the cop that was going to try and rape Beth

 

The whole:

"we all have a job and take care of each other. We take in people who need our help then they inturn pay off their 'debt' with work"

doesn't seem that insane. But when 'taking care of each other' means raping a 16 yo girl and killing off anyone that could oppose our ways...then you're insane.

 

Hopefully they don't waste the last two episodes of the mid season creating more back story and pick up the pace. It's time to kill off some characters.

 

Not much of a back story left for anyone other than the hospital group. I wouldn't mind seeing how they became who they are now but I also wanna see Rick and group fuck them up!

 

They still have yet to mention Morgan again and where he is in relation to all this. Him surviving and killing could make for an entertaining episode.

 

10 Internet bucks says the church crew bite off more than they can chew with the Hospital crew and Morgan shows up to save the day.

There's going to be some pretty unexpected events in our midseason finale, which is as it should be. On scale of one to 10, I'd say [the midseason finale is] pretty deadly."

 

Translation: Boring first 40 mins til last 10 mins you will be on pins and needles then wondering and second guessing til the second half of the season.
