Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

Build a wall around a few houses, once you acquire more occupants for more houses you expand the wall a little more and on and on and on.

Don't need to wall in an entire city for 3 families.

 

This show isn't about living happily ever after. I don't trust the new people anymore than anyone else they have run across. Something smells here, and whats up with the recorded interview process?

 

I was just about to post about that...it would make sense for a researcher or doctor (Milton) to do something like that but an ex-politician.....

 

On Talking Dead , the producer said it created a record of the interviews with newcomers that would allow any of the current residents to come and view , hence the " transparency " Deanna alluded to

 

Plus it could help her to better 'read' people. Say someone didn't work out, they could review the tape and say "Ah yes, there was the red flag that we missed"

 

As for the girl, I don't think we know her situation really. Did they say anything about her family? Maybe she was out there alone and can't really handle being with others yet, or like Carl mentioned, they're soft and she's going out to keep up her skills by killing area walkers.

 

Something smells, and it aint just Darryl.

 

I'm still calling that the girl is related to one of the people who was exiled and takes them supplies / info

also I assume everybody noticed she was the one in the burnt building outside the fence that Carl saw before they entered the first time

 

Yes but the one kid said it took her a while to talk to them ( she does not want to develop a relationship). When she scaled the wall where did she go. Seems suspect to me. The book as well, you know the show is not thru with the group that ransacked the prior town.
My conspiracy theorist mind is showing ha ha

 

I have a few questions regarding potential spoilers.

if they have ventured out 56 miles wouldn't they have found the Hilltop Community and the Kingdom

 

Good point but the books never really said how far they were from Alexandria. Also they said the show is going in & out of the books so this could be a point where the story line leaves the book & there may not be a hill top or kingdom.
In the book the leader of Alexandria was a man not a woman but still a politician if I remember correctly.

 

Carl found Rick pretty quickly after losing the girl, maybe she was the one that spotted the gun Rick stashed and picked it up.

I don't think she's a mole, but something is up with her.


On the folks that were exiled, I missed a bunch of the show because I wasn't watching it at home, He said they lost 3-4 people in the last month? I didn't hear anything about them getting kicked out of the community.

 

I was wondering about Carl finding Rick so fast too. It's one of those questions like how come they never run out of ammo?

 

Yup which I think is backed up by the preview of next week, he's wearing the jacket and the hat as well..

 

When they went on the dry run , Aidon said that they lost 4 people last run

Then they said that the walker killed one of their friends

Deanna told Rick during his interview that she had to exile 3 people

From what we've seen so far, hell no. Rick said what they all were thinking about taking it over would be doable..but who knows how many more there are at Alexandria or what else so far.

Yes, he said if it didn't work out they could just take it, but that is not why he nor the group is there. They are there to help everyone and themselves survive and stay safe. They're doing their job in the community and if something goes wrong, they are taking it. If an outside group comes to take it he will help defend it before he just goes and joins them. Remember what he said to Garreth? Rick doesn't tolerate bully or terrorist groups and he sees that this town is somewhere he can make his stay.
