    Did anyone watch "Talking Dead"? On the sneak preview they showed that girl climbing into a car on the highway and fingering "JSS" on the window.. What the heck is that all about??

    Random thought that hit me when Rusty (aka Carter.) got bit in the face...

    If everyone is already infected. You die, you become a zombie. Why does a bite make you a zombie? If it's a bite that kills you, ok now you die so you become a zombie because you are infected. But if you are already infected and you take a non fatal bite, what's the big deal? It's not like they are now infecting you...

    Maybe it's just zombie folk lore and the answer is "because" and that's ok...

    Another side note. In this zombie world, do scratches also turn you?

    On the preview it showed her walking up to a car and killing a walker that was half in/half out of the car. then pulling it out and closing the door. Then writing JSS on the window. Who knows she could have been riding the horn in another vehicle. ARGH.. guess we find out on next show.

    Infection which leads to death. That's why they cut Hershel's leg off. They cut it above the bite so that infection couldn't spread.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    for him i'd say bleeding out, he needed to STFU, and the bite would cause an infection that would kill you. think of all the nasty shit that would be growing inside of a walker's mouth.

    It could just be a more aggressive type of the infection that everyone already has. Considering how broad biology is, there are lots of possibilities I guess. I've pondered this myself. We're probably giving it more thought than the writers do :rolleyes:

    That definitely seems like that's what's going on. In the previews for the next episode everyone is hiding inside of the homes, I doubt they'd be doing that if it were walkers, I'm sure they would have simply fled the town. But if the wolves got those that were still in the town then it would be very plausible that those in Alexandria were trying to signal for help because of the wolves attacking them. The group typically always takes zombies head on, people not so much, I bet that's why it showed them hiding in the homes. They must have been pretty desperate for help though if they sounded that horn. Just my .02

    Could be, but could also be that dumb ass Gabriel. I didn't catch TTD so I don't have any ideas on the next episode.

    Great start to the season. I was a little thrown off with the black and white flashback scenes. I was beginning to think there was something wrong with my TV. :p I don't know why they didn't just make a bunch of molotov cocktails, and start tossing them into the horde from their vantage point. The fire would have drew the others at the top back towards the middle, and they could have eliminated almost all of them. They also could have started taking them out one by one since the walkers were barely squeezing themselves through the trailers, then that would have created a bit of a plug to the dam(ned).

    But this is TV and it all made for a really good premiere. It is kind of cool to see Spencer wake up and take the advice from Glenn.
