    That wouldn't have changed anything. I was thinking sort of the opposite, that Nicholas would jump off to 'save' Glenn but there were hundreds of walkers. It wouldn't have made a difference if someone fell in, they still would be standing there trying to get the person on top.

    What they needed was a pool float

    Only on the small section the garbage can was pushed up against. The section of fence between them and the woods didn't have any. I thought they would jump for it.

    I was thinking that too, but also couldn't tell if that was safe from the herd on the other side of the fence. I would imagine it was open and if they jumped it they would just be met by more walkers

    If Glenn survives somehow , it will be because somebody hears the gunshots from him and Nicholas and comes to help , otherwise I can't see any believable resolution

    We are only on episode 3, I think the season is 12. That would be waaaay too long to drag out. I don't know how long it takes to 'turn' but no way he makes it more than a couple hours. The season has got to progress more than that...

    Good call - but they already did that with Bob, so I don't see it happening again.

    I think he survives somehow but he will die this season, and probably not by walkers

    That reminds me...why don't these people help out their fellow 'survivors'? There were like 3 different moments in this episode where someone was being attacked or bitten and they just let them keep on dying in agony instead of putting them out of the misery. The most obvious was David when he was smushed up against that fence and Michonne and the other 2 were just standing there staring at him. Why didn't they stab him or shoot him?
