Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

Morgan's actions will get himself or a main character killed soon. Then he will realize that Carol and Rick are right about killing evil people.

 

Lol @ this episode. Guy has his stick in hand and, instead of killing the walker, he turns Morgan out of harms way giving the walker his back to bite. I was curious about Morgan's story but an hour episode would have suffice.

 

Amc's YouTube channel uploaded the wrong promo, ep6 instead of ep5.

In the sneak peak we can see that Ron and Carl are going to have some kind of conflict. Maybe Ron will take out Carl's eye?

 

I agree. Worst episode yet. Morgan's character isn't fascinating enough to warrant a whole episode.

 

True but this story is setting up what could be a catastrophe when his prisoner escapes.

 

^...This. I think Morgan's belief that all life is precious will be challenged or set aside for the greater good of the group and/or himself.

 

I guess he figures he can be "saved". As far as all life is precious, It's downgraded to expendable if your trying to kill me.

 

1.5 hours of ha ha we aren't giving closure to the glenn situation.

 

why rush the glenn situation? we'll find out eventually. i liked the Morgan episode. i do think eventually his actions will lead to somebody getting killed and he will snap into his "clearing" rage again at least temporarily.

 

I would agree... a little bit. The episode definitely felt like they could have condensed it into a one hour-ish episode. However, after thinking about it, there are some very large gaps in time where Morgan wasn't around and he is a popular enough character with the general viewing public, that he sort of deserves the spotlight. And "we" deserve an explanation on how he became David Carradine from "Kung Fu".

As far as Glenn goes, I'm anxious as hell to find out how they move forward with him as much as the next person, but as fast paced and frantic as the first few episodes have been, a slower episode is actually needed.

 

In my view, it's not so much about rushing or not rushing the Glenn situation, it's that they did it. I would have liked the Morgan episode to have been last season when it was relevant. In fact, it would have been an awesome episode to have last season. This was used simply to build anticipation for the Glenn situation and frankly they could have done better.

I think him leaving that wolves guy alive will end up killing someone. Letting them take away that handgun compromised the RV when they attacked Rick. There is definitely a build up and maybe he'll end up dying to save someone like the guy did for him.

 

Anyone notice Steven Yuen's name wasn't in the credits?

Finally watched the snooze fest. This episode wasn't as bad as everyone is saying but it would've been better last season instead of the random post episode pop ups. That of course would've made it less dramatic when Morgan did return but still, this is obv just tactic to make me wait longer on the main story...

So, who was yelling "open the gate" at the end of the episode? Sounded kind of like Rick but that wouldn't make much sense since he wasn't headed back to Alexandria...

Haven't seen anything other than the "next week on..." snippet they show right after but it looks like Maggie is going to set out to find Glenn. I'm assuming next week will be all about everyone at Alexandria and possibly lead into them setting off to find Rick and the rest which might finally get some resolution in ep. 6...

 

Seems pretty obvious to me the reason the Morgan story was told now is because of the Wolves member he has locked up in Alexandria , and the reasoning behind him trying to rehab him , couldn't really tell that story last season
