Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

i am going to use that time to dream about all the mods i can make to my truck so it can become a zombie slayer. then reality will set in having responsibility trumping all desirable mods.

I like the Toyota commercials they play during the show...to bad its for a corolla and not a taco or FJ though

 

I thought for sure when the group got to the roof and found he was gone , then found their cube van gone , and the zombies all of a sudden showed up in numbers at the previously safe camp , that the racist dude had somehow transported some zombies up to the camp to get revenge on the survivors for leaving him to die .

Anybody else thinking the same ?

I'm sure the reason racist guy cut his hand off was because the zombies were fixen to come thru the door and it was quicker to cut thru bone instead of the hardened steel handcuffs. (Remember dr.phill doing that to his ankle in scary movie)? Personally I thought episode 5 was very boring and slow. Hell I think we only seen like 4 zombies the entire episode at the very end when they were trying to get into the govt installation.
Somehow racist guy and his brother I think will play a pretty big part in what's going to happen.
And yes. Camp was set up pretty shitty and someone dropped the ball on the lookout. Somehow I too believe racist guy and the cube van had something to do with camp being infiltrated.
I don't know about everyone else about what decision vehicle they would be driving with unlimited fuel/vehicles at your disposal but it sure as hell wouldn't be a winnibago or any of the other broken down pos they seem to be driving. I would def find me an H1 alpha with a. 50 mounted on it or a custom blackwater humvee or suburban. And while I was at it, I think I could find a few m4's and waaaay better guns than what they were carrying.

 

unless Merl (raccist guy) blacked off the storage area of that box van there is no way he would have gotten zombies in the back of it. the cargo area went straight to the cab...

I do agree with Matic on that I would have a hell of a lot beter vehicle and guns... When the survivors were walking past all the dead soldiers on the street they all had m16's and I saw a m60 type gun as well. Why wouldnt they all grab one of those guns?

 

Well when the guys returned to get the van it was gone and they walked/ran back to camp... There was no Merl there, so I think he may have rounded up zombies (no in the back of the van) and drove slow back to camp with zombies in tow so to speak!? I did see a belt fed, and It looked like a 240 Bravo... and that would get it done! The finale hopefully will set up a kick ass 2nd season!

 

Yea, no tellin what Merl did or where he is.

Oh and I forgot about all the tanks just hanging out in the streets...get in one of those fuckers! one question though, how did the guys in the tanks die anyways?

 

i imagine the tanks guys bit and turning zombie in the tank. figured the the early days of the crisis..they didnt know the affliction was transmitted through bites.

anyways, just a theory.

i think a high capacity shotgun is just about the perfect zombie gun. at least in this show. an AR15 would be great too, but the zombies are not particularly fast moving.

this is one of the better zombie shows. EVER! cant wait until the next season.

for those who have not seen this, AMC is running all episodes today starting at 3:30CST working up to season final

 

im tuned into AMC right now and the online schedule says Walking Dead should be playing but all i see on is The Abyss. Im in Cali, anyone else experiencing this disparity between schedule and real life?

 

it started here at 4:30 and not 3:30 like sock said. dont know if they changed the schedule or not. right now it's half way through the 2nd episode

they are havng a walking dead marathon today.....playing all the episodes and then the season finale. 35 minutes to go here!!

 

I am watching the marathon now. I love that python with the 6" barrel. Now that is a gun. Pretty good show.

 

I would pass on all the heavy weapons... noise just brings them out of the woodwork. I would be looking for a MP-5 suppressed... with lots of subsonic rounds. All you would here is the bolt cycling... clack, clack. I would be driving my DC 4x4 or a jeep CJ 7.... to be able to maneuver the streets, and lots of fuel, never want to run out... you dictate your situation, never let the situation dictate to you.
