Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

I don't read the comics, but the TV version has Coral on a mission to Kill Negan. There he is facing him with a gun right after taking two other guys out. To wimp out at that point just doesn't make sense. Zipper his ass and get it over with.

 

All the Negan/Savior's camp scenes last night were basically straight from the page, aside from them dumbing down Negan (just mentally insert the F word in any sentence he says and he would be more accurate).

 

Yeah thats what I thought, usually if a walker smashes their head the production/writers make a point to have a "splat" moment so we can know they're dead. Oh well. guess they are rushing it.

Plus all Negan's wives should have been in walking around like they were in a Victoria's Secret commercial but oh well.

 

They were all dressed alike (the best I could see) in little black dresses

Come on now, when Neegan asked Coral to sing, how funny would it have been if he started singing the Darryl torture song "easy street"? And Jesus was pretty useful in that episode. He can go back and tell them everything about the box truck.

 

Wasn't he the one who slid the note under Daryl's door that said "go now"?

 

I didn't think about Jesus being the one, but thought negan's wife/dwight's x wife(not sure her name) to be the one. It seems she feels guilty for a lot of stuff. Imho

 

If he was than I have to admit I totally missed it.

 

I thought it might have been Dwight. He seems to be tiring of Neegan, but I don't think he has the balls to risk it, at least not yet.

Idk but the way I saw it Jesus was on top of the truck negan was on. Daryl got called over to the window and then as Dwight took him away he was looking up at the top of the truck the whole time and then they panned wide and Jesus was no longer up there. Then the next scene is a note slipped under his door

It could've been either of the 3 but I just figured Jesus was involved bc otherwise he literally did nothing important on his mission to check out the Saviors...

 

Jesus now knows how to get to Negan's hideout , that won't be nothing to Rick's group

 

Yep. and Carl now has intimate knowledge of Negans hideout if he stays with Rick and the gang. Book I believe has Negan taking a special interest in Carl so perhaps he goes back with him.

And now we have Jesus, Michonne, Rosita and Carl all converging individually on Negan without a coordinated plan. Just seems odd and stupid. And what the fuck.."one bullet" for Rosita. Sheesh..make two or ten.

But at least the series is picking up. Carl's eye (lack of?) was awesome as is the Negan character being fleshed out. Makes the Governor look lame and I liked him too.

Exactly. About 5 times Carl could have killed Negan, which was his "mission". Hell, if Dwight represents the mindset of Negans leadership, perhaps taking him out might bring down the whole damn thing. Pop him Carl!!

Coral had his chance with Negan...as soon as he saw him he should have popped him in the head....he still had the box full of weapons too...drop one pick up the next...keep shooting till you run out of ammo or Saviors...

 

Rick could have clubbed Negan about 5 different times too....
