    So in the Walking Dead comics there is no backstory of Negan. He just comes in to the story pretty similarly to how it happened in the show. In the past couple months though they started a spin off series that is published in some magazine that I forgot the name of. The spin off is called "Here's Negan". Each issue is only 2-3 pages long so it's unfolding slowly who he is and how he became what he is now. I did recently read that they will be working his back story in to the show, a la the governor, so it looks like you will get your wish...

    So after all that Negan just left Carl back with Rick? Most ruthless dude on the show almost gets killed by a kid and Negan just has dinner with him and plays with his sister on the porch? Brutal!

    Carol was the most badass of the group....now she just wants to read?

    It was great when spencer spilled his guts and the fat chic got shot.....she was worthless.

    Overall it was a lame mid season finale and this season has been a pretty big letdown.

    People are missing the point of Negan. He is trying to show Rick that he isn't all bad and that they can work together. In the book Rick isn't near as big of a pussy and Negan is actually trying to impress Rick and be buddies. They haven't built that up as well in the show so some of what Negan is doing seems questionable but that it the point they are trying to make. He wants Rick to think he is 'reasonable' so they can work together in some what harmony...
