So what was the point of Morales and why did they bother bringing him back?

 

I guess the proper response is that he helped show the distance the group ( and himself) has traveled from 'good guys just trying to make it' to 'just as bad as anyone else out here'.
I would have liked to have seen more of him but there was a siege going on so it prob. would have tied up more time than it was worth.
No telling what may have been left out of the cut.

 

Yea I think it was a moment to humanize the saviors with someone we were moderately familiar with.

 

I was surprised when watching Talking Dead, they did not show/honor the one Savior that Morgan shot in 'remember those we lost tonight'

 

Daryl blames himself for Glen and was also kept prisoner by the Saviors. He don't give a Fuck about them. Curious what he will do when he finds out Jesus brought a group of Saviors to the Hilltop.

 

I was disappointed with Morgan's stickmanship against Jesus.

 

I was impressed with Jesus's fighting skills against Morgan.

 

Morgan was upset, overrun with rage. That is not the proper mind set for using any of the martial arts properly. Jesus was protecting himself and something he believed in, he was also not trying to hurt his friend. Jesus had the mental advantage.

We've gone two episodes without Negan now. Although this episode was more enjoyable than the last one for me, I am still not cool with all this sudden mercy. All those Saviors are just going to be "imprisoned" in a couple trailers and then let go? Yeah, that should go over well. I can understand the thing with Gregory (he should receive some form of punishment) but all the Saviors need to go. Jesus is trying to play the better man at the wrong time.

Ezekiel and his crew were doing great up until the end. But it was kind of stupid how they were caught like that. They were so thorough up until that point, and then he just happens to notice a large building and silo a few hundred feet away? That was amateur hour after they had been shown to be one step ahead the entire episode. I wasn't thrilled with that.

I am glad Daryl is not taking any prisoners. Thank goodness for Daryl!

Nah I like the idea that Jesus is a secret ninja. It’s time for Morgan to move the fuck on. I really dislike how his emotional regulation is non existent

 

Jesus is just going to cause the Hilltop to get annihilated by the Saviors.

 

I agree but so is Morgan if he doesn’t just pick a moral stance and stick with it.

I’m not pumped about Jesus taking hostages but at least he picks a stance and sticks with it haha

 

We will see how it all plays out I guess.

 

They should put the saviours in the trailer tied up and untie one of them. Kill the one that is untied and let fate decide what happens to the rest.
