Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

Anybody else starting to wonder if Jesus is working for the other side? He's working hard to get the Saviors into the Hilltop.

Well, they found the .50's.

 

The .50s found them.

 

Shira is going to jump this guy holding Ezekiel. Carol will take care of the Saviors and bring the .50s home.

 

Was thinking the same about shira. But carols got herself in a pretty big jam.

 

Well....alrighty then. Just as good.

 

Carol will drive through the gate and save Ezekiel and Jerry.

She died saving the 3. Hated to see that.

 

I know that it's pretty stupid to criticize the reality of a show that the whole premise based on the impossible but don't you think shooting Ezekiel's group with a large .50 cal is a waste of less abundant and heavy ammo? Save the ammo for piercing vehicles, destroying hardened targets, and punching through armor to get to a human body. (A .50 cal would punch through an engine block and stopped Rick's Jeep in a heartbeat - actually a well placed rock from a slingshot would probably stop a Jeep. ) A few full-auto AK's and AR's with much more abundant ammo would have been just as successful to soft-tissue targets. It didn't look like there were many, if any, with body armor that would warrant a .50 cal.

BTW, I could use Jerry's help in splitting a cord of cherry wood I have.

Possibly but I don't know if they are friends. The one dude didn't think twice about shooting through his "friend" to take out Carol.

 

There is always one guy in a group that no-one likes. Perhaps that dude was the one no-one liked. LOL

 

Yea even that was a bit much for me. Can’t really argue against your rationale there..

What I’m going with, is they had to incorporate the 50 cals somewhere so the audience knew where they were. Might as well shoot them at people for effect..

Maybe the powder was weak due to improper storage post apocalypse and that’s why they didn’t penetrate the Jeep haha.

Decent episode. Glad the tiger is gone cause I’m interested to see how Ezekiel develops as a character due to the loss of his metaphorical power (Sheva representing what saved him and allowed him to build this community and persona).

Can we all take a second and hope that Rick or Daryl hip fire the 50 cal in the next episode? That would make my day even though it’s not actually feasible

 

It was cool that they got the guns. But I thought the fact that the .50 cal didn't rip that Jeep to shreds was kinda hokey. I think it could have better written where the guy was trying to get the gun set up and loaded while being chased and Rick and Daryl had to stop him before the gun was ready.

 

A worthy episode. Bummer on the tiger. I didn't buy that it went down that easy though. I think there should have been a lot more zombie stew first with an epic battle. A heck of a cleave job on the extremely irritating buck toothed bastard. Carol? what can you say. I want her on my team cuz she's too dangerous.
