Geez seems so far away. I cant even remember what happened last episode of last season.
Is this a longer break than normal?

He actually went from an opponent in the next election to dead in the matter of a few hrs.

I really didn't see how Gregory did such a bad job at the hilltop. He was providing for his people and giving Negan his cut.
Sure he was quite the sniveling asshole, but his people were fed.

I dunno. Just not feeling it anymore. Everybodie's got a new haircut. It's like a family reunion. Your happy to see everyone's alive but now you don't want to see them for another year.

Is Gregory really even dead? He only hung there for a minute, and he wasn't dropped to snap his neck.

It started off fine. But I wish the show didn't advertise as Rick's last episodes. That should have been a surprise event.

Marketing wise it’s brillant because it’ll put most viewers on the edge of their seats with every sketchy situation he’s put in.

God that’s the perfect way to put it and I agree wholeheartedly

It's sad that the show has gotten to the point where they need to use marketing and promos to create excitement rather than having the story actually be entertaining and keep viewers engaged.

I see the Rick thing as trying to pull people back. I know a few people who were rabid fans that aren't keeping up with it much or at all now. Plus who says how he'll leave..I'm sure they leave the door open for a return down the road myself.

Didn't they say in the Summer that he's going to die this season?

They said this will be his final season. There’s rumors on him dying but no confirmation from the directors that I’m aware of

Maybe Negan will find a way to even the score.

Well, I’m watching this season (for now). I watched half the season of FTWD and gave up, that was going nowhere.

Gave up on that one the season before last. I tried it again this last season, but only lasted a couple episodes. Too sketchy.
