Yes. Just fine. And yes again but obviously there will be occasions where front lockers are beneficial but rarely.

Poor ZR2 guy thought he had real rock sliders until I pointed out that they are attached to the body of the truck rather than the frame.

Him: “Well I’ve been on rocks with them with no damage.”

Me: “Sorry homie but if you were really on rocks your rockers would be caved in. Hell there’s not even scratches on them.”

Rubicons also come with the body mounted rock sliders. They’re not bad. Not as stout as ones mounted to the frame but they are decent. I actually wouldn’t mind running something like that on my truck.

body mounted rock sliders will hold up just fine if you are barely scuffing rocks. if you actually roll onto one it'll get fucked up real quick

definitely look cool for a fraction of the price tho

Same here. Her RAV4 lights are unbelievable. Even compared to my aftermarket LEDs.

Are the ZR2 lockers the same as the rear locker in the Z71, the Eaton G80? If I understand correctly, that one automatically locks and unlocks as needed. It also won't allow you to regear for bigger tires. I may be mistaken though.

ZR2 is a very formidable truck, just like the taco. Has issues, just like the taco.

Its a matter of liking vanilla or chocolate.

Lots of buggies use body mount sliders for higher clearance.

Stock for Stock, the ZR2 beats the Pro, especially in ride composure. A huge issue with the Pro is the stock flimsy shackle hangers, they inhibit ride composure and you can see in the comparison videos how the Tacoma is all over the road, and has a lower speed capability.

Here is a major improvement for the Pro and all 2005+ Tacomas. This is hard to believe until you put the Hammer hangers on your own truck and feel the difference, then you'll know how bad the stock hangers are.

I still don’t see it. But regardless, that was a pretty hard hit. My point was, it holds up better than what the other guy was portraying.

No, ZR2 has an electronic locker. G80 locks when one wheel slips to engage both.

Lots of comparison videos on YouTube. Check em' out. Most end up saying it's about even.

i don't really agree. if it crinked the rocker after one hit it's never gonna hold up even remotely close to a true slider. you could roll onto rocks on your sliders all day long and not damage your anything but the bottom of that slider
