Nice work man! If you were to guess, how much would you say it weighs?

Thanks. It was well worth it compared to buying one. Also the learning experience was good too.

I bought a 5’ 4x4” tube with 3/16” wall (main structure), two 20x30” plates 3/16” thick (sides and corners), and one 12x12” plate 1/4” thick (for mounting brackets). Also for the hitch I just went to harbor freight and got the prebuilt receiver that I welded on.

I was heavily debating on using 1/4 or 3/16 on the entire thing but I’m glad I went with 3/16 on the bumper it self and 1/4 for the brackets. It would be extremely heavy with 1/4, not to mention 3/16 is totally sufficient for the off roading that I do.

Appreciate it man that helps alot, and yeah 1/4” all the way would have been a bit much.

I never got to weight it but my best guess would be somewhere between 90-120lbs.
