I’ve got a set of Prinsu style side plates for a topper rack and mounting hardware I’m considering selling.

First off this is only side plates and hardware, and is NOT Prinsu. Extrusion bars and mounts will still need to be purchased, fabricated, for a complete rack. These were purchased from a member that has made a few sets of rack kits, that are very similar to Prinsu, but are indeed different.

The side plates are made from 1/4” aluminum stock and are about 53” long and meant for a short bed. They are laser cut and powder coated (admittedly not the best powder coat I’ve seen but functional). The hardware I have and will include is as follows:

4x per crossbar Black Stainless Steel button head cap screw, washer, lock washer to attach the crossbars to the side plates.
2x per mounting feet anchor plate, stainless steel bolt, fender washer, lock washer to attach feet to rails
2x per mounting feet bolt, fender washer, lock washer to attach feet to crossbars

I have enough hardware for up to 8 crossbars and 6 mounting feet.

There is nothing wrong with the setup, and is still partially wrapped as delivered to me in June. I bought this kit before I got my topper with the intent to put it to use. I ended buying a used topper that already had a Yakima roof rack and that setup meets my current needs.

I’m in no rush to sell so the price is pretty firm. $185 + actual shipping. PayPal only, FF or you cover PayPal fees.

 

but does it bolt like the prinsu in roof or no ??

 

Yes. As stated previously, I’m only selling sideplates and hardware. Crossbars and mounting feet must be added for a complete roof rack.

No. There are no mounting feet included. You will have to buy or have fabricated.

 

First line of his post says this is for a topper(over the bed on a shell) not the cab so it will not bolt to the cab.

 

It can be mounted the same as a Prinsu, in the correct application. On a topper/camper/shell, etc.
