anyone ever tint or smoke their tail lights??

I hate to be the guy who brings this up because I am thinking about tinting mine and I have no problem with people who have but I've heard alot of complaints about safety and the possibility of getting a ticket. If you really want darker tailights consider buying aftermarket ones that are LED and have a black housing like these especially if you drive in thick fog alot. and if you don't like these there are tons of different styles on ebay

they might end up being cheaper than damage from being rear ended or a ticket.

 

Well with the tinted tails just make sure they are legal. Mine are basically black and I havent gotten a ticket. And those are fine if you want the tinted look.

Hey i really want to do this but im confused on what exactly you do. Do you just take out the tail light and spray on that stuff ehh VHT.. and thats all? Thanks 4 the tips
