Well yeah, I meant for the link material, not the rod ends. The anti-rock kits normally come with 14" threaded (1/2" - 20) rod. For longer ones, just cut them in half and weld them into some 3/4" OD x .120" wall DOM or something? :notsure:

If packaging isn't to bad then 3/4 dom would work. Unless there's smaller tubing made.

Looks good, got any pics from other angles?

Bah, not much more cutting that needs to be done. Mostly near the headlights.

Officially a driveshaft whore. Just picked up 2 more 4runner driveshafts in Denver. A manual tcase decided to tag along, which brings the total to 3.

I cut one in half to fit in the trunk and there was rolled up cardboard inside. Wtf? :der:

i cant help but thinking you will be taking this truck in some stupid places. and im sure you dont want your cab all dented up... mine is on 1 side and i kind of wished i added some type of exo cage. not even necessairly a cage, but tubes where the rear quarter panel is to keep the truck off of rocks?

Thanks, not yet, i'm gonna try to get some sometime soon.

That's interesting that the older driveshafts are different.

After some looking around, apparently cardboard inside driveshafts is meant to be a sound deadener.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that one. Either I'll make kick-ups off of the sliders that tie into the cage, or I may take a shot at lining the inside of the quarter panel with some uhmw haha

I definitely think you need to make kick ups off the sliders that tie into the cage, I would definitely either go all the way up to the bottom of the extra cab window or even higher if you can.
Would be cool to do something similar with the front fenders too. I remember seeing a build on pirate that had tubes protruding through out the fenders to keep it off rocks and it looked awesome

Never been interested in RC stuff.

Care to donate some time or money? :D Thinking I'll be taking a hiatus from the truck through summer for lack of the aforementioned necessities. :( Gotta save up for the high dollar stuff anyway. (Turbo, shocks, beadlocks, lockers, etc.)

Would be pretty difficult to get it right though. As much as I love function > form, I love the Tacoma lines. That's one of the main reasons I initially went with an internal cage.
