I was gifted a pair of these. They come with a nifty wire harness.

    Thanks Paul!

I've def been looking at his skids. Plus they are made by a member. I'm all about supporting other members. I've gotten a shipping cost from him a little while back.

You will be totally impressed with your bumper. The fit is incredible. Tim makes them so you can totally adjust it and line it up perfect.

All done for now. Ordered a rocker switch from otrattw for the fogs, so the switch is just stuffed below the power outlets.

I also had some issues with my Cobra 19dvix. The volume was non-existent when I first got it. So I bought an external speaker. That didn't help whatsoever. Then it kept popping fuses and it even smoked a bit. I think I got a bad unit. So I returned it and got a Uniden 520xl. I already like the Uniden since It stays on the same channel after it turns off and back on.

I don't want to sound like I'm beating on members, but I would seriously reconsider those skids. I will stand behind skid row skids all day. They have the extra support that the front skid plates need to have. I've beat the living hell out of mine and they are dented and bent, but I can legitimately tell you if I had those skids or bud builts I think they would be to bent to put back on by now

You can get the skidrow skids cheap from 4wheelparts you just have to call or email them for pricing

Btw trucks looking great man

Thanks for the good words! Im always open for advice. I want to be able to take my truck anywhere...That includes Rausch and possibly out West. :mudding:

One question, did you have to modify your skids to mate to your bumper?

No sir I did not, It fits in there nice and snug. However I will say that no matter what company you go with make sure to reinforce the belly pan skid

That's good to know! Skids are def on my shortlist next to sliders. I appreciate your advice! Next time we run into each other, I may spend some time under your truck. :D

    Thanks!

I got the bumper on the Elite group buy. $825 is what I payed with shipping. But me and 2 other members had ours shipped store to store Fastenal style. Cut the shipping down to a 1/3 of its original cost.
I love the fogs! They came is an idiot proof wiring harness. So even I couldn't get it wrong!

I'm digging your radio set up. I may have to go that route. I like the double din and the placement of the CB.

Yeah it is! and it fits like its factory.

While I love my head unit, I often consider getting a single din just so I have the space below the radio for my phone and wallet. Thats the only downfall of a double din. Id almost be willing to trade another member radios...

A little friendly stone busting.:D

Woody trucks looking good btw. if u can get some pics of the entire thing with the bumper on. so would u recommend a double din radio? i am thinking about something like this when birthday comes in a few months or Christmas. trying to see the best avenue to take when i decide to get one. the tweeters are another thing im looking at right now cause i like the subs and want some in the truck but not the muffled sound where it vibrates the truck and all but something clear and still have subs. thanks in advance for the advice Woody.

I plan on taking some pictures with my dslr when I get a chance. I've been pressed for time between work and prepping for our vacation.

Brad...I still have the stock speakers in my truck. And yeah, they probably should be retired soon. My company truck sounds better than my taco. Lol

As far as a Double din...I thought I would love it being it has built in Nav and I could watch movies on it. But in reality, I use my phone for Nav and I have NEVER watched anything on the unit.

At this point, I'd rather have the space below a single din. Either for switches or like I said, to put my phone and or my wallet there

I may browse my local Wally World for a single din with a usb port and possibly BT. then sell my Clarion hu

I ordered some Dakar D6xl AAL's today for a kinda local shop (OK4wd). I saved about $25 or so ordering thru them. I also ordered axle relocation plates from 4crawler

I have to do some research to see if I need new center pins. It's a safe bet I should just get them since I'll have the Dakar packs apart and they are only like $10.

After I get back from vaca, I plan on putting the AAL'S & relo plates on.
