Nice Jeff! Looks like a blast. I might not be able to make the 11th meet but may be avail the next weekend if you or anyone else is down to wheel.

We will figure it out. It's better when we all can make it anyway.

Truck looks great. I'm a pines local too and am planning to go OME all around on my suspension. Have you ever felt the need for aftermarket UCAs? Where have you gone for alignments if you're on the OEM control arms?

    Whats up ya piney! :D

    What year is your truck?

I didn't have an issue with alignment. I had a local tire shop square it up after they installed tires/rims.

Haha hey we know how to party out there

2002 DC TRD. Picked it up about a week and a half ago to replace my Tundra instead of giving it a proper death in hidden lakes...

Good to know. Does it have solid road manners with the lift? I'll be DDing the truck too but nothing really serious or far

I was a little harsh at first to get used to. But that ended fast. I like the way it handles. While it's not my DD, my wife seems to think its her DD.. Lol

I plan on removing my swaybar here soon.

What coils do you plan on going with?

Good to know. I live in Philly part time so it needs to be able to take a highway

882s and the dakar pack + aal. I figure the eventual bumper/winch will offset it and bring the height down to around 2.5 over time. Do you think the UCAs would drop the stiffness?

I don't know if the UCA's will help on the stiffness. From what I've read on here and ttora, 2st gens seem to need UCAs more often to achieve proper alignment numbers over our 1st gens.

I'm sure uniball UCAs can only help.

Maybe look into Bilstein 5125's for the rear. I've read the valving on them is pretty much right between soft and firm. Maybe even the 5150's

Yeah tHe AAL is a must! ESpecially since you are going with 882's

Do you have stock rims and tires?

True, most of the information on UCAs has been in the second gen section. I just want to do it as complete as possible but if I can use that $450+ for other parts...

For now, yeah it's bone stock. I'm doing the timing belt/water pump and a few other odds and ends before really digging in. After the lift, 275/75/16s and then wheel like that for a while

It is true that you can get your alignment back to the point where it won't effect tire wear but there is no way with 2+" of lift you will get the right amount of caster. I would like to see everybody's alignment sheet that say you don't need uca's. I'm almost certain there caster numbers would be way low.
