None yet. But working on it
I recently picked up a 96 tacoma xtra cab with manual transmission and 3.4l v6 with 265,000. I bought it for a hunting truck but after stumbling across this site i have more plans for it:D. I added some new tires for the season and here is what i have planned for it so far.

    Replacing:
    Valve cover gaskets
    spark plugs wires and coils
Timing belt, tensioner, and water pump
    Thermostat
    New fluids all around

    Mods I Plan on:
5100's for the front and 5125's for the rear
Relentless Fabrication front and rear bumber
    Hid Head lights
    Billet Grill
    Hella 500's
    Warn power plant winch

Ive read that the 5125's can make the rear end "bounce", but the aal with help as well as add more payload. Any truth to this? Also anythig else yall think of i need to add to make this a sweet ride im open to suggestions:cheers:

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
Your '96 is going to be practically identical to my '97 modwise, so you can check out my Build Thread for ideas.

Be sure to check out Post #2 since you want to put HIDs in. True HIDs are going to take a little work to make happen, but it's completely doable, as evidenced by me having done it. :D
