Suggestions on mounting spare tire?

im headed to tirerama today to get my matching spare tire. any ideas on where to put it instead of just in the bed?

Is the stock location modifiable like on the 2nd gens to accommodate a larger tire?

 

ya we fit it in there i didn't think it would but it did.

 

What size did you end up fitting under the bed? Just about purchase a new set- could really use this info... thanks

 

You can fit a 32" tire in there without any mods to the bracket. It will go almost all the way up. Maybe a half inch from the very top. Can't imaging a "33" fitting without modification to the bracket. Even then the tire will be very close to the back of the rear diff.

 

well i think that looks pretty good on that jeep, well if it was folded down its its supposed to be, but it would look retarded as hell on the taco haha
