wheels rub on brake callipers

any thoughts on wheel spacers

what kind of steelies r u running or wanting to run?

 

Wheel spacers are against my religion.

 

i've beat on my truck a lot and my wheel spacers have yet to fail me

 

do it too it! just rember when you go to do somthing in your truck you wouldnt normaly do cough cough (jump it) changes camber and wheel moution out ward. it makes it easier to snap a studd but at the same time like blackhawk said he beats his truck and its fine.
ide do it if i didnt have crazy spacing on my rims and 10.5 wide tires allready

 

just grind down your brake caliper, thats what im doin when i get my cragars in on sat.

 

i dont like wheel spacer personally. if your wheel rubs on your caliper you can shave caliper where the wheel is rub without damaging it.

 

Wheel spacers are against my religion but the First Commandment is "Thou shall not grind brake calipers."

It's all part of modding. I read on this forum that we can grind down our calipers to get wheels to clear. Well I tried it and hit brake fluid. That sucked to the tune of $330+ and one week w/o the truck. Now I look back on that and laugh. In a few months you won't even miss the extra cash. Time like this tell a lot about your character, don't let it get the best of you.
