Protecting bumper against jacknife

I remember seeing a product somewhere that protected the bumper incase you jacknife a trailer. For the life of me I can't find it online. I'm pretty careful about my truck but if I send someone else to back the trailer in the water while I handle the boat they may jacknife the boat trailer and mess up my bumper.

 

I think cabelas sells one... Might be wrong

 

wouldn't it be easier for someone else to handle the boat and you back the truck?

All I could find. It states for "lining" up the hitch to the ball but......Looks like it could be used while backing up the trailer being put in the water. (short distance).I wouldn't use it for the highway. Just prior to backing the trailer up, slide the device into it's slot. It'll keep whomever from dinging up your bumper. I'm sure if they got way out of line it could still do some damage. If all else fails you still have a nice chock block.

The video might give you a better idea. It does say you DON'T have to remove it but I would hate to have that back there if I needed a quick decision made out on the big road or you needed that little extra twist say to spin around in a parking lot.

I drive double trailers for FedEx so I have a bit of an idea about backing. (and yes, you can back them up, it's a challenging and time consuming skill) not an everyday thing you want to do.
