Yes, they have all been corrected. They also have a great warranty program on them.

One note on installation on the Gen 1's, the spring perch needs to be flat, and on the rear, the perch sometimes bends down, this will increase the life of your springs, no matter which springs you go with. Just an FYI...

I just rebuilt my rear leafs, I kept the stock leaf pack (& they were pretty shot) & just added 2 shorter leafs off a Ford !! What a difference, it did lift somewhat but it brought my springs back to life & the ride is a little firmer but not harsh at all....;)

I didn't notice the use of the word TIMBRENS here. Might be something the OP would like based on the other alternatives with coils and such being tossed around.

alright guys the day has come. I don't have the money for the rear leafs and I'm looking at alot of other things that have priority over getting my truck back to 1" rake. So i'm going with blocks. yes I know, it will suck, but I can't look at my truck any longer without wanting to go find a flat bill just so I can fit in with her...So blocks it is. Probably gonna get a 2" on the driver side and 1.5" on the pass side. the beefed taco carrier bearing drop will also get thrown on with some extended brake lines. I will be upgrading this once I have UCAs and a stereo that functions. That is all...(walk of shame)

Hah don't guilt me into this Doug! Haha I'd love to do this, but the reality is that I just don't have the tools or experience to be confident that everything is done right, and if something does go wrong I'm screwed because I have a tight schedule and alot of places to be :(. I hope to reach that level of comfortablility soon, but it seems that verytime I work on my truck something bad happens. Maybe if you wanna take a lil road trip I'd take on the feat :)

Misssouri huh,,, is the pre- spawn bite for bass happening yet ?? Haven't been there for alot of years but I have a ton of relatives in Kansas though, oh well post up when yer done buddy & if sometime in the future you want a custom leaf build, hit me up I'll build it to your specs....

& it'll be a hell of alot cheaper than "store bought" & perform as well or exceed other aftermarket apps...;);)

alright, thread revival time. I've given it some more thought and I may hold off on the blocks. I don't have enough for a new leaf pack but maybe by summer. Ive been lucky these past couple of weeks and have earned *some* money.

I realized that the set up I run now is actually kinda dangerous with the bed and trailer loaded. This is with 1 yard of fairly dry natural mulch and 1/2 yard of pretty moist/wet dirt.

I have no experience with the dakars yet, but I just don't know if they could handle this. I'm thinking if I go that route I should get the ome aal when i first install it instead of waiting for them to sag.

But then this brought up the idea of the expo leaves again...this is what I am thinking...

they will give me over 3" of lift so I may need longer shocks, only thing is, I don't know if you can mount a 10" or 12" shock in the stock location. sooo I was thinking of relocating the lower shock mounts to the axle, but keeping the upper shock mounts stock. I would probably go with the u bolt flip kit as well if I end up doing this.

I've also been thinking about getting a toolbox lately so a higher rated leaf pack is probably in order. There won't be a whole lot of gear in there, but enough to justify the use of the box. Anyone know how much they weigh in general?

Thanks for all the help guys, I know I've debated this a lot but I just want to buy everything once and get it done right this time.

Haha I know man it blows :(. I hate driving around and guys are like "damn bro nice whip" and I'm like yeaaahhh...I'm not you're brother and my whip stays in the bedroom :anonymous:

how much did your leaves go for? Don't tell me actually...I probably coulda gotten em :(. After I figure in costs for all the parts and labor the expos come out to 599-899 and the dakars come out to 599. That's with u bolts brake lines and labor. The 899 is if I need longer shocks and relocate them and then throw in a flip kit which would be awesome but overall very pricy. I also don't mind up to 1.5" of rake but I think I remember Jerry saying his expos netted him 5" and he carries a constant load way more than I will.

Sweet set up man. I can only guess that the dakars have similar qualities between generations so I think the Dakar set up with aal will work for me. The expos would have been nice but maybe a little overkill

I just installed my All-Pro Expo leafs yesterday, and I don't really know where they're getting the 4-5" of lift thing. I previously had a Toytec 2" AAL in the rear (which rode like shit) and I swapped them out for Expo's and thought okay I might gain an 2" from it (since my bed was unloaded at the time) and when all was said and done, honestly from the naked-eye it didn't look too much higher (maybe an 1")...I can post a side shot tomorrow so I think if you're looking for a factory rake they're perfect

That would be awesome, I just have to be a bit wary because I am a first gen and I could swear Jerry got 5" out of his. Could be wrong though.

Any more opinions/advise/experience is still greatly appreciated

Yea true, it could be different for the 1st Gens, not to sure on that, but I know that's the way it is for me
