    Who needs a sway bar?

It rides much better without one.

Looking at avid/relentless/ for the slider look but really need a step for the wife. Don't like the toyota steps, nor single step, or even the westin or anything like that. I like the look of sliders esp how they hug closer to the truck.

probably won't but i'd still weld em on....esp cause i'm 2wd and don't venture out much. My truck mostly pulls/hauls and i'm off road newb with little time to get into it.

Thanks for the input, that's what makes TW so great.

As far as me doing my homework, I did:

I wanted steps without the Nerf Bar look.

I didn't want to drill into the frame nor weld.

I'll never use my truck for "serious" off roading.

I didn't want the sliders to stick out too far.

So my Avid sliders are perfect for me.

Hopefully as the OP follows this thread, he can make his decision as well.

Driftin yes, but all good stuff. Lrgrnr provided some great input and there are a lot of good options out there. Bottom line: How are you going to use them and run it from there!

all good points, truth is that about 95% of time only needed to be a step, but i cant stand a step hagen down 5% of the time, i don't need
nfab has some rock rails [not a real slider] with a step that can be added ?
i guess what i really want is to have real sliders[can support truck]
that someone uses on a real life day to day situation,as a step

like i say i can still hop in truck [barley]]
but getting out is killing my seat ,as i have to slide out to reach the ground[ an I'm 5 11]
    so beffedtaco, relentless,avid,shockrocks, demello,revenge.nfab ,allpro
so real sliders leaves me most ,bolt or weld,
so can i get in an out of my truck on theses sliders?
or am i a step guy

    Too many to list
I have bolt on shrockworks sliders on my truck, I usually dont use them as steps, I just step over them, there is enough room to get your heel on them if you wanted to. My gf uses them to get in but slides out across them to get out (its always clean on the one spot, haha).

They are more then strong enough for wheeling, iv jacked my truck up from from each end and center of the slider and nothing showed any signs of flex..

I don't use mine for step cause I had them close to the cab...but they get used

This picture was taken 3 day after getting them in Ocotillo Wells near Blow Sands
