Looking to buy window visors Any opinions

Any suggestions on good brands or a specific kind to get. Thanks I have an access 2010 MGM

 

I would check out Weather Tech's. You can google them. They lock in rather than stick on. High quality. They make the best floor liners and you can also get the visor's and bugdeflector...

 

ive got some AVS visors on mine and they seem to work great. they do the trick anyway, my cigs dont get soaked and neither do I.

 

I bought the weather-techs from AutoAnything.com and they work great. Easy install i would buy them again.

 

I have a set of the EGR In-Channel vent visors on my '11 Double Cab. So far so good! Got them for ~$50 shipped, don't recall where from... If you do a search for vent visors, there is a link someone posted to them... It's like $36 bucks for the set of 4 plus shipping. And installation is a breeze... Literally installs in minutes.

 

I have these I'd let go for $35 shipped... I forgot all about them, they are the surface mount type but work the same as the in-channel type.

I have had nothing but the Weathertech's on my Tacomas. They fit great and have a nice clean edge and look to them.

 

i just bought the avs in-channel visors. should have them in next week. Bought mine from the local advanced auto parts store.

 

I've had AVS in-channels installed about 4 years ago...love them! I think the in-channel look much better and doesn't mess with your paint.

 

I'd go in-channel... That's what I've got. Love them.

 

I have the AVS visors and they work great for me. I got mine installed at the dealer when I bought the truck.

 

Yeah whats the deal with the in-channel types. Won't that impede the window if its inside that channel on the other hand it seems like that would be a more secure fit?? I know the others just stick on the outside with 2 sided tape.

I haven't had any issues with the in-channel, but they've only been on for 1000 miles. My one concern is the life of the edge of the tint due to the added pressure. However, the tint has a life-time warranty, and I may go over the edge of the tint with some clear nail polish just for added insurance. I just think they look better and last longer than the stick on ones.

 

With power windows, yes. Crank windows, get the in-channel.

 

i forget the name of the brand but i got them from autoanything and they are the in-channel ones. i like them alot because its a cleaner look and i haven't had any problems with the windows getting caught in them. also i believe that i heard that autoanything is having a 15% discount this weekend on everything.

I have never had problems with my windows binding due to my in-channels...had them over 4 years, at least 70k miles, and through hard winters. Matter of fact, they keep the ice out of the window seals and allows them to open easier! I think they look cleaner than the ones that stick to the outside.

 

Ya I have the the weather tech in channel ones. Got them from Autoanything.com also. No Problems at all with them getting caught up in the windows. I like the cleaner look of them in the channel, nice low profile.
