I have an 09 Taco with just over 45k miles and the parking lights are on all the time when the headlights aren't on. The parking light bulbs are melting the internal lense in the head light housing. I have a freind down the road with the same problem.

Mine haven't melted either, but I recall several threads on the subject in the past. I also installed a switch so I could control the DTRL.

could you just take that internal lense out and just use an amber bulb? obviously you'd have to take the light out and take it apart and seal it up again, similar to when you'd do the bhlm, but i think that would work, no?
