My ABS have been a pain in my but and I dont know why they would ever be put on a 4x4. The first time I went down to the creek I tried to stop before I hit the water and slid in the silt for about 10-12 feet because they kept engaging. If they had locked up I would have stopped in 3. Then on the way home one day, I hit a reflector in the center line as I went to turn down my road and they engaged and almost made me go into the ditch. Toyota would not tell me how to disable them cause they are a "safety feature"(big sarcastic quotes there....). Does anybody know how to temporarily disable them(incase I sell it down the road, I want to be able to turn them back on)? I have seen a mod with a switch, I think, but I dont want to have a switch because they will never be turned back on while I am driving.

Yeah, cut the wire and don't put the switch in...

Make sure you use the correct write up, one is just for the Off Roads.
