wouldnt bother with the viper alarm system and remote start...
would get wet okole seat covers instead of GT...
i would also forget about the pop and lock...

this leaves you some money to put into better things -

    TRD Exhaust/Intake
    Struts/Shocks/coils/leafs
    wheels/tires
    armor

I am getting the texas edition. They have a 1000 more off on top of the 500 for getting that edition.

    Let me list the specs
    v6 prerunner
    texas edition
    32400 MSRP
    2k off msrp
    3500 in rebates

Why forget about the pop n lock if I need to lock my bed?

Depending on what you'll be towing, you'll need the wiring and possibly a brake controller. If you'll be towing heavy and frequently (and you have an automatic), then you should look into a transmission cooler and potentially a weight distributing hitch.

What kind of truck are you getting? SR5, TRD? Also x2 on the viper. Too many threads about viper issues around here. First thing I would do is buy a hose clamp for the tailgate, not sure if that's what you meant by the tailgate seal? Also check out this thread.

all things that come on the trucks with the tow package, OP if you are really going to tow there is more to it than just a U-haul reese hitch frame....

i say forget about the pop and lock because you shouldnt be putting shit in the bed that is worth alot to you and keeping it there. buy a toolbox and keep the stuff in that :notsure:

Holy shit at those okele! those are some bad ass options to fully modify the seat covers!
I wont be towing that often. Maybe if they give me a good deal Ill have the towing package installed? They have been giving me a bad ass deal too. After looking at videos the wiring seems easy. I will be towing jetskis after I am done with school. maybe once a month. I plan to tow at the beginning of december for a new apt

    SR5
    Texas edition

So maybe I will get the dealership to install the VIP system?
The tailgate seal it to increase the bed water resistance

    no it doesnt

    Ill have them install it
I guess you are right on the tow package.

What is the problem with the pop n lock with a tonneau cover combo?
I just like the space modification from the roll X tonneau cover. I wont be keeping things there expensive all the time but I would like to be able to seal it if I need to.

I have no issues with the popnlock. Cheap deterrent for tailgate theft when used along with the hose clamp mod. I can't personally comment on Viper alarm, but a good quality cheaper alarm option that I have zero issues with are the autopage alarm with remote start.
