    I used 2 J bolts on each side of my UWS to mount it to the bed rail. If you look at the front of the rail there are 2 slotted holes the J bolts will slide into then just drill matching holes in the box and bolt down super easy to do. I don't see why you couldn't do the same with the kobalt box.

    How much equipment are you looking to haul in the box? Do you really need something that big anyhow?

    Being you are concerned with removing the box to load a bike, and if you are okay to downsize the box(es) ... How about the Undercover swingcases?

    Yeah. But I don't load and unload my bike a lot so I don't think it will be a big deal. And I would need something that big. Tools, survival gear, jumper cables, etc. I will probably fill it up. If not, need more space.

    Check my thread. You can get that kobalt tool box in black from Lowes. And I used the grip rite system that's meant for the box.

    I had one in my truck..i used the grip rite system..worked great. I recently took it out to put a solid fold on. Ill let you have my old box(just over a year old) for $100, plus is you can figure out how to get it to you.
