i have a 07 v6 with 55k and the water pump is beginning to leak, within the last month it went from the low mark to nothing in the reservoir

what place has the cheapest oem waterpump

realistically for someone who is mechanically inclined but not done any engine work before how long would the install take

would i want to replace the bearings and belts while im in there?

most importantly for now what type of coolent can i put in for now?

55k is awfully soon for a water pump to fail. Not sure who has the best price for a new one, but replacing it isnt too bad of a job. Still run the OEM collant in the engine though.

"Looks" arent what kills them. They can look brand new, and fail in short time, if the milage is exceeded. Regardless, the OP has an '07, so no timing belt.

Do you see the coolant leaking anywhere? Or is it just "disappearing"? If you don't see it leaking, make sure to check your oil- could be a head gasket.

Aisin is the OE supplier to Toyota of water pumps. Toyota is a part owner of Aisin, as they also are a part owner of Denso. Aisin aftermarket pumps are identical to the pump a Toyota dealer would sell you other than it will not say "Toyota" on the casting.
