What kind of mileage can a person expect to get with a 3000 lb travel trailer using a 09 DCLB TRD?
    Thanks

It depends on a few factors:

Are you going to be driving in the mountains?

    How tall/wide is it?

Will it be on the highway? If so, how fast will you be traveling?

For reference, I recently took a 7x14 double axle enclosed trailer that's about 6' tall across country at 55mph. It weighed in around 4500lbs total, and I got about 10-11 mpg. I usually get about 18, so I only lost a little over 1/3 my regular mpg.

    Hope that helps!

My TT is about 3000 lbs wet. I get about 10mpg

I was towing an old Citron from Portland to LA. I'm guessing it weighed about 3000 with trailer. I have a 2006 DCSB V6 and we surprisingly averaged about 16mpg.

Just an FYI, towing a TT is the worst thing to tow, mpg-wise. It's a huge box and is very opposite of anything aerodynamic.

On flat highway speeds, 70mph, my buddy's 6 cyl got between 10-11mpg towing a 20ft enclosed trailer with two bikes and gear.
