    Best way??

Trade in or sell the Prerunner and get a 4WD. Then.....convert to solid front axle.

Solid front axle swap is a HUGE and highly involved process. Converting to 4WD AND solid front axle - Wow....

You're probably looking at a minimum of $12k to do it yourself. There is alot involved. Maybe he is just talking about upgrading his rear axle? TECHNICIALLY... a SAS is just swapping your solid axle for another... SAC... is the true term for a SFA conversion...

Anywho... IB4 nerds say it can be done for $3k

    :D
I'm so used to referring to SAS from my jeep says when I converted to D44's.
For me, it's an automatic assumption that SAS would refer to the front (on toyotas). Because, afterall....why would you need to convert a Toyota rear to anything else (in a general sense)? ;)

I agree. I assume it's front as well, but who knows! We all know what assuming does :D.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
This ^ and unless you own a lot of tools and have mad skills the best way would be to drop it off at a shop with a check for $25,000 and hope they don't come asking for more.
