Rhino Lining Steel Tube Steps ?

I have black powder coated steel Aries 4" oval tube steps on 2008 DC that are being to show some rust where the factory cuts were made at the tube ends and foot pads. They are out of warranty so there's nothing I can do with Aries directly.

My question is, has anyone ever had their tube steps Rhino Lined (or other similar coating)? And if so, what did you get charged?

I plan on taking them off, sanding and priming where the rust is, and then having them done. I'm just curious about the cost.

 

I did my raptor tube steps myself using truck bed lining in a spray can from Lowes.

I had old school Con-Ferr tube bumpers on my FJ40 sprayed with Linex. Looked cool and durable as could be. I actually pushed my plow truck around with it once when I super angry bumper to plow. Smashed right into it at about 5MPH or so and pushed it. Didn't even scratch it. But it does discolor over time and everything sticks to it.

 

Rust-Oleum or Dupli-Color bed liner?

That is the question.

I plan on prepping the surface and using Rust-Oleum's Rust Reformer spray to treat the rust areas, so I'm thinking I should just stay with the Rust-Oleum Bed Liner as well.
