Does the access cab and double cab are the same?, Talking about transmission and suspension components.
I move from California to North Dakota and my truck it's 2wd, I went to the dealer and try to trade in my 2012 2wd for a 2013 4wd and they was offering me 15k for it!! No way Jose!!! I was looking around for a totaled tacoma and I found a 2005 access cab 6 speed 4wd with a lot of goodies. Buuuut I'm not sure if everything it's just going to bolt up trait up or they are totally different.

    Please guys need your help.

    Thanks.

The dealer will not give you much because he will have trouble selling a 2wd in ND. Trade in a state that does not have much snow and you will most likely get a better deal.

Thanks for the reply guys, I was tinking drive back to San Diego but the prices on the trucks I was looking here are higher than here. A brand new Sierra 2014 it's about 7k more there and same with the rams.
And the trade in its about 20k to 22k.

Mmm. Idk, I need something bigger to drive with the famili from nd to ca but don't want to waste so much money.

If you only need the larger vehicle for one trip, i would rent or fly. You'll save money in the long run. My girls (6 and 9) are quite comfortable in the back of my double cab.
