    Hi All
I had a recent run in with a deer (or should I say it ran into me) and it took out my passenger side door mirror (and windshield). Rather than go back stock I wanted to upgrade to door mirrors with the turn signals integrated in. Prior to ordering I verified that door wiring has the 5 wire connector that is needed for the powered mirror with turn signals feature. I found a good deal on partsgeek.com, so I ordered a new set. I connected them up and the powered mirror part works fine, but I can't get the turn signals to work. I connected 12 volts to the wires of the mirror turn signals and verified that they work. My truck has day time running lights (using the front turn signal lights), so I'm not sure if that is part of the problem or not? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Keith

Just as a follow up, after a lot of investigating work, I was able to figure out that while more door wiring had the correct wires to support the door mirrors with turn signals, where the door connects to the cabin does not have the correct wiring. The wiring is in the fuse box, but somewhere (as indicated in the attach image) the wires are missing.

I hope this helps others with similar goals.

    Thanks
    Keith
