Turn signal to leds 2011 TRD

Option: Flasher can be modified for use with LED signal lamps.

The common "add resistors" method is simple; the resistors equalize the electrical load to the same as what a regular bulb was. The difference in power (5-9Watts in LED vs 27W bulb) is wasted as heat from the resistors. Using the resistors included with the V-LEDs module is simply plug & play.

If you would rather not waste the power, then modifying the flasher is more physically challenging (getting the flasher out is the challenging part), but is more electrically efficient

Got the vleds last night took me about 2hrs to do the ft & bk. But my ? Is when the head lights are on the turn signal dose not eliminate. Is that normal.

If you have a 2007, then yes. I think 2012 and 2013 the turn signal stays illuminated at half strength when the headlights are on (vs. full brightness DRL's when the headlights are off).

The only other thing that will illuminate when the headlights are on, are the small corner marker lights.

 

It will do that on the 2011 but I had to buy an extra harnes for 4.00 waiting for it to come in. But I did the leds last night for the Head lights & fogs will be doing that today. Also order leds to put under the door when they open.

Yes, that is normal. Your daytime running lights do not illuminate while the headlights are on.

 

The drl will be half power with head lights on. Call vled takl to Jake if u have 2 wires for the turn bulb you will have to buy the red wire. Im waiting on the red wire now it was 6.00. You will get power from the little led by the head light. Im waiting on mine to come in. I just got done install ing the vled heads & fog light bulbs....
