    Hi Guys,

I just received my Avid Light Bar today just in time for Christmas, a perfect gift to my self. I can wait to primer and bed liner tomorrow.

I got my light tabs welded on the inside hoping for later to add some lights upside down on the inside. Can anyone recommend any light that would fit?, seems like I might need some slim model. I found this picture which is perfect,

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Sounds like a great Christmas gift (even if it is to yourself..). Look forward to seeing pics of your install.

Got email today that he started working on my bar. Was looking at the Hella 500 black magics and Hella 4000X. Still looking and considering though. Going with the same setup you plan. How long did it take to get your bar once he started working on it?

Those look like PIAA 520 lights that are around 6" in diameter. I have those behind my Satoshi minus the covers.

Looks like the Piaa 520 series to me, same ones I have on my avid bar.

I have the yellow driving lights and I like them, cut through the fog pretty good. Very easy to install as well.

Mount a 20"-30" LED bar in there. Which ever one fits.

I also like the idea of mounting a pair of lights on the inside of an avid bar with yellow lamps for fog and snow while still having room up top for driving lights. Are there any other light bars that allow you to mount lights that low?

    Thanks!

Im sure there is, or you could get a custom one. Avid will weld on mounting tabs wherever you would like to put lights, top of the bar, bottom, left/right etc.. I really dont think you can beat the Avid bar for functionality, style, and quality, so i wouldnt look anywhere else. Just my opinion .

Do you guys know if any one ever uses hella 500's hid/non hid for yellow fog/snow lights. It seems like im seeing a lot about the lightforce with yellow lenses and Piaa 510 and 520s with yellow lamps along with the Piaa Ion crystal lamps and nokya lamps to replace my factory fog lamps, but not to much about the Hellas with a yellow setup. I know Hella makes the yellow films but dont see to much about people running them.
I want to get an Avid light bar and mount some low fog lights with yellow lamps for bad weather and some driving lights on top of the avid bar to be able to use on the highways here in CT. I often see sales for 4x hella 500s or 700s and have thought about buying them but I will want a set to be yellow.

Super easy, 4 studs with 4 nuts you back off and slide on and tighten.
