Looking to replace my rear 1.5" blocks. I am about to pull the trigger on Wheeler's 3pack but came across IRONMAN rear leaf pack on ToyTec's site on sale for only $289(w/o U-bolts). States will give about 50mm(2") of lift. Seems some of the web reviews I found was positive. I mainly want a softer ride but still be able to do some hauling.

Thanks for the link. I couldn't find anything really negative regarding the rear springs. 2" of lift, smooth ride, good hauling capacity and the packs looks pretty stout. I'm going to get these and replaced the stock packs. Now just have to search for better pricing than toytec's.

That's a pretty decent price. Is that for both? If not then yes, that is high.

I will do some searching as well. Shipping is always a punch in the gut when I find a good price on something. I did get a quote for some OME Dakar springs for around $500 shipped from DSM.

$289 is for both, reg price was $369. I couldn't believe it either for a complete pack, even w/o U-bolts. Here is the description from Toyec's site:

DescriptionNew from Ironman 4x4 '05- current Tacoma (6 wheel lug) rear leaf springs -Provides about 50mm of rear lift Priced as a pair, driver and pass with leaf spring bushings *Longer rear U-bolts are required and not included*

I am happy with their performance. They will be pretty stiff with the 2nd overload leaf in there but you can haul goose neck. I removed one of the over loads and now it rides like a caddy but still supports my topper and what else is back there. If you are going to haul a ATV, dirt bike, ect.. keep both over loads in. I purchased mine from sierraexpeditions.com for like 125 a side w/o u bolts. make sure you get the bushing kit also

Thanks, looks like I will get these. Looks like shipping is only $67 on Toytec's site to my zip. $357 shipped is a heck of a deal for new leaf packs. Unfortunately, Sierra Expedition site lists them now at $167 /per side.

I saw this on their website too. I was going to go with the ToyTec Progressive AAL, but this has me considering just getting a new leaf pack for only $75 more. Definitely update this with a review when you get them installed.

Definitely the way to go. With all the issues the oem pack has from weak packs to broken springs why waste your time and money. Plus I sold my oem packs on CL

Toytec just gave me a price of 441.00 shipped w/ unbolts, may stick with OME for 500 shipped.

FWIW, Spoke with a guy at Sierra Expeditions, he stated that IRONMAN is apparently pulling all their stock out of the US and Sierra is having a very difficult time filling orders. He also commented that IRONMAN springs are nothing more than a copycat of Dakars just lower quality. If that's his sales pitch to push the Dakars, then I'm more certain now to buy the IRONMAN's from Toytec before stock is out. Toytec sales confirmed that the IRONMAN packs does include the bushings.

Wow, I guess the rumors regarding IRONMAN pulling US stock may be true. Toytec heard the same rumors and luckily I was able to purchase one of the last 2 sets they had in stock. Toytec will no longer be carrying these. I guess I'm screwed if I need IRONMAN customer service for any issues, oh well.
TW member Mr SALTY gave me info on another vendor Headstrongoffroad. Looks like they have a used set of an All pro 3" lift standard leaf pack for only $250 under their garage sale area. Doesn't say if it's for a 2nd gen Tacoma though. Worth looking into...
