Not sure if this is the right sub forum but here it goes. So I bought my 2007 TRD Sport DCSB used with 55K miles on it. I had noticed when I first saw it that the underside was really dusty for only having 55K miles. Anyways when I first bought the truck I loved it, it felt a little rough driving, but figured thats just how these are. Well my buddy and my little brother eventually got one and after driving theirs stock I soon realized mine was different. After about 75K miles all my U-joints were bad and my drive shaft was bent, all prior to when I started taking my truck off road. Fast forward to now with 150K and some offroad miles and with U-joints replaced twice and my truck just never feeling right. In the past week it has gotten REALLY bad, I have a shudder when I first give it gas, there is a tremor as long as its in drive and moving forward, it shudders at random speeds sometimes, and has been making a squeaking noise randomly that I can't find where its coming from. And my truck has always made this buzzing sound when I put it in reverse.

So I am at my wits end now, what should be my next course of action without having to take it in to Toyota?

Some time ago, I had seen a post somewhere (tundra solutions?) that talked about the slip and stub on the Tacoma driveshafts. The individual posted a video that showed the stub that connects to the rear axle had some movement/play. If I stumble upon that post again, I will post here. Perhaps a driveshaft shop will offer more insight. The best of luck to you.
