    I did the swap with my 4x4 conversion. I did all the labor myself with some help from a friend. You will need the drive shaft modified. The carrier bearing is in a different location.
    The rear cross member will need to me modified or a custom one made. The trans mount is in a different location. If your changing to or from 4wd.

    @Oreo Cat yes that will help. for the engine i got a manual 4.0 ecu. the dealer installed and programmed my vin into it. they had to program the immobilizer control unit as well. still use my original key. now the transfer case, you will need a manual transmission transfer case. the input splines are different. auto is 26 splines and the manual is 23 splines. the count might be wrong but they "ARE" different. the electronics should all be the same on both transfer cases.
    hold on a second. what gen is your truck? i see "stock 5 lug" are you a 4cyl?
