The price for light bars are all over the place,
Just curious if anyone has used the eBay spot-flood light bars in the lower bumper opening on 2014 tacoma, what size fits ? How is the output?
I know rigid bars are probably brighter and longer lasting but also cost a lot more

    Thanks

Also try Craigslist. There are many of them out there. Most guys run these light bars just for a fashion statement. They hardly use them. I bought my rigid used. But my next one is going to be one of those cheap ones. I'm sure the light out put would be close if not the same as rigid

Bought mine off Amazon for around $400 IIRC. Couldn't be happier with it. It puts out a ungodly amount of light and is well made and easy to install. Maybe took an hour tops to get all the wiring ran and hidden with wire loom.

Thinking about getting a curved 50" for the top of the cab next.

I've had a couple from SC Lights. They work great, basically exactly the same as the overpriced rigid crap. If I'm going to buy something with 40 cents of PCB and 40$ in LEDs in it, there is no way I'm paying 600$ for it because its got a fancy name on it.

I've never had any problems with my ebay lights and the service was good. I try to buy local when possible but even if I lived next door to Rigid and they were owned by my own family I wouldn't pay those prices. Its outrageous.

Read reviews of the seller if you must run that stuff - There are a ton of TW members who have had bars leak, short out, fog up etc. Some are decent, some are complete crap.

I've done a mod or two
I got my Totron light cubes from eBay (the seller was from a UTV forum that my friend frequents though). They have been solid, I would say the OKLED and Totron product seem pretty good for being no names.

I got this Ebay 30" double row without switch or wiring for $200 shipped. Right before I installed it, it dropped from the seat of my truck to the concrete driveway and I've sprayed it several times with high pressure water to remove bugs from it. So far it's pretty tough. I can't really say how the brightness compares to other brands, but it's holy crap bright.

The SC light ones I mentioned I've submerged many times, been pelted with rocks and even driven it into a tree. it just broke the mount.

I am, 40"er. It's very bright. I paid $140 for it, but it does build up condensation inside it. It has a 2 year warranty, so one day soon I'm going to send it back for a new one which I will reseal when it gets here.

    A few things
I'm about to pull the trigger on a Chinese 50" curved bar(Hanma) on Craigslist. Guy deals in them. They have CREE LED's so at least its got that going for it. It's not a combo just spot. The guy says i don't really need floods because its curved. $300 Plus i have to get a relentless brackets for another $120 or so. But damn its going to look sweet!! Haha.

I got the 30" light bar from Amazon so far working real good, a little moisture inside but works fine and throws a ton of light... Not a spot but a spread of light.
I did get the rigid fog light harness, wow great quality....

The same shit everyone else has.
I purchased a 30" double row spot/flood combo off of Amazon for 150$ shipped. I love it. Fits behind the grill perfectly.

From my understanding as long as you stick to Cree LEDs, you should be pretty good aside from the actual construction of the light.

    12000 lumens. 30 watts .

Works perfect for what I need - driving back roads at night
