I think they can put it all together if you pay extra , when it comes u just need swap your suspension! Call them other ways you have to deal with spring compressor

yea it wont be very fun trying to get those 885's on without a very specialized shop-mounted compressor.

getting my 884s on with the cheap compressor was scary enough

I would recommend paying to have them build them. They provide everything you need in one cost, so you don't have to buy pieces separately.

Yeah it's tempting, but $158 extra.

    Some stuff...
IMO $158 is well worth it. I did springs on my Mustang and Maxima. You'd have thought that I would have learned my lesson installing the Eibach's on my Mustang 12 years ago, but no I did it again on my Maxima a few years later and swore that I'd never do it again. It's a major pain in the ass, but if $158 is gonna put you over budget, do what you gotta do. I spent a weekend saving $400 installing my Icon/Dakar front and rear setup last weekend so I got no room to talk! :goingcrazy:

Good luck and keep us posted - nice setup BTW. :)

Don't know your skill level but the springs are pretty tough to do. Just take it to a local tire shop. They usually have sping compressors. When I did my first Gen it was going to cost $10 to swap springs for my bilsteins. They took forever and ended up doing it for free. Do you have Les Schwab? Trust me, I don't like to pay anyone to do anything. I tried doing the springs and it was scary.

I did mine myself with the 885, just rent a tool from vatozone, they refund you the price when you bring it back and bam, your good.

Consider how much you plan to lift and if you want to get UCA. I would also recommend you get the sway bar spacer if your going to keep that installed

I just bought basically the same exact items from Wheeler two weeks ago and installed them last weekend. It is easy to do if you have the tools, and you don't need a lot of tools.

If you want a walk through, just send me a PM.

I didn't get the rubber coil isolator set as they aren't really needed. My truck has 86k on it and the isolators were fine. Everything else was needed thought.

If you going up to 3" or more, you want to get it. I think anything above 2-2.5" you should get it.

Okay, cool thanks. Decided to get them just because I can see lots of cracks in mine. Might as well replace while everything's apart anyways.

Now that I've driven my truck for about a week after adding the shocks and springs, I wanted to give you a couple of updates.

Note the 885 springs gave my truck about 2.5" of lift now that it has settled for a week. Your truck is not a 4x4, so you will probably get a little more lift.

They couldn't get the alignment right, so I have purchased a set of UCA which I will be installing this weekend. I'm willing to bet you will need the UCA as well as your truck will be higher than mine.

I forgot to mention that I bought the front diff drop kit. It is extremely easy to install while you have everything apart. I don't know if it helped, but it did reduce the angle on my half shafts.

Currently I'm getting a humming noise but I don't know if it is the tires or the drive train. If I still have the hum after my alignment is fixed, then I might look at shim kit for the rear axle (I added a Wheeler 3pc AAL there which gives a much better ride).

You can use a floor jack to compress the spring. Look on YouTube and there is a video that shows how to do it. It was extremely easy to do this way. Once I figured out how to do one side, the other side only took about 30 minutes. I've used spring compressors before and although they work fine, they are never fun to use.

The new ride of the truck is great. I don't think it is any "softer" but it doesn't bounce around after you hit anything (pothole, uneven pavement, etc). It just seems to suck everything up and keep going. When I put my UCA on, I'm going to make sure nothing has loosened up and then I need to take it off road to really see how well it works.

If you come up with any questions, let me know.

    Awesome man thanks!
Yeah I did see the youtube videos of using the floor jack, that's what Im going to do, if I can't get ahold of a good spring compressor.
