I got my 06 taco not too long ago all stock and I wanted to know any ways to make my truck louder and so I can hear my engine. I want to be able to hear my engine when I rev it, I drive a manual and it would help a lot if I could hear it when I change gears but I can barely hear it. So, any advice? I was thinking about buying a new intake, don't want to "blow" too much money.

I got a straight thru glass pack muffler off ebay and installed it about a foot behind the y pipe and put a straight pipe back to my axle. U can use exhaust clamps if u dont weld, and use pipe from ur stock exhaust to get back as far as u want to. I think it was maybe $25. Red hot is the name of muffler
