    Hi everybody

I have I think a similar problem. I've figured out it's definitely the wiring to the battery causing my truck to die. I know this because every time it dies now I move the battery a little bit and it starts right up. I know this is not going to last long.
My problem is I do not know which wire is having the issue. I do not think it is the same one mentioned above (the ground to the car).
My question is how can I narrow down which wire is causing the issue so I can replace it?

First: The battery should be clamped down so that it doesn't move.

The battery has two terminals going to the two post. Disconnect each of them and clean them using a battery brush on the battery post and the terminals. Once they are clean reinstall them and make sure they are tight on the posts.

** If any of this doesn't make sense you may want to get help from someone that knows something about vehicles.

Funny thing is I went through all this with an Optima battery a while back. Battery was 8 months old. I started by replacing ground wires, to no avail. Ended up being a junk $250 battery

Optima has sucked every since they got bought out. I've been using Kinetik batteries and they've been great.

Lol sorry for the suspense! I got a chance to wash the terminals today. I used baking soda and water mix and brushed with a toothbrush. After I reconnected the terminals tight and anchored the battery.

I think this did the trick but I'm not sure yet. I went for a long drive tried to be a little aggressive still working fine. Also before anchoring the battery I tried starting it multiple times with the battery in different positions and couldn't recreate the problem.

I'll check back in if the problem continues if not everything working fine now.
