I traded in my 2010 base Tacoma for a 2012 TRD Sport. Can anyone tell me the best lift kit for it. I drive on the highway most of the time. I just like the tall look.

That's just the mfg website, you can buy it somewhere else cheaper. Also there are customizations in the right upper corner, and they have a lifetime warranty if I recall correctly.

Thanks for info. I wil probably go with the 3" lift. My wife will be too short for the 6" lift. Got to keep her happy too.

What is your budget for a lift? I would say go icon and don't look back.

I'm going to be going with this kit from Toytec after I get a wedding paid for and a house downpayment made...

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/Boss-Suspension-System-for-05-Tacoma_p_15.html

    Minus the diff drop,
Plus the Boss HD 10 leaf pack,
    Plus Total Chaos UCA's

I want to level the truck and stiffen the suspension a bit, easiest way to do that is a modest lift. This will lift the truck 2" in the rear and the front is adjustable, but I'll likely set it at the full 3"

I've been back and forth with the staff at Toytec to come up with the best solution for what I want to do. They are super helpful if you're new to this kind of thing and looking for advise.

3" Lift with UCA, Grillecraft grille, XD rims w/ 285/70r17 duratracs, leer xq cap,
I went with the skyjacker 3" http://skyjacker.com/product.php?ProdID=32855 and I am happy with it. New shocks all the way around used existing springs up front and a 2" AAL. I did end up getting camburg uca's to get the alignment where I wanted it. I wondered quite a bit before the UCA replacements. Good luck

You will be happy with 3" lift. They function well and look good on these Tacomas. Many different options for you. Best places to look are Wheelersoffroad.com, toyteclifts.com & downsouthmotorsports.com You can get a good simple Bilstien shock and coil lift all the way up to King coilovers with replacement everything!

This is much closer to the answer most are looking for. A great start is the OME lift kit with Dakar leaf springs in the rear. For those that do a lot of hauling, you have the option of removing one of the springs to lessen the harshness of the ride. Look in the "Suspension an Lifts" section for tons of information.
